Privacy policy

This website is operated by The Stone House, a private holiday villa in southern Crete, Greece (“we”). For any privacy matter, contact us at [email protected].

When you send an enquiry or booking request, we receive the details you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number, requested dates, party size and your message.

We use these details for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry and, if you choose to book, to arrange your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not use your details for advertising. We do not store payment card data — no card details are ever collected on this website.

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking records are kept as long as Greek tax and short-term-rental law requires.

You may ask at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will act on your request without undue delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

This website does not set marketing or analytics cookies. The embedded area map on the location page is served by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when loaded; see Google's privacy policy for details.
